The application process meets all the same legal requirements of an MNTD application process but instead it gives you the chance to experience what it’s like to be a Trustee in a supportive environment designed for learning and growth.

By joining the TTT, you’ll have a safe space to ask questions, speak openly and share ideas freely without the legal responsibility that a Member Nominated Trustee Director (MNTD) has, but your contribution can help to shape the future from the day you start.

The GEVPTL Trustee Board looks after the GE Energy Pension Scheme and GEAPS Pension Scheme and we welcome members of both Schemes to apply and join us.

The TTT is the first step to becoming an MNTD on the GEVPTL Board, and to provide a fairer opportunity to everyone, the only way you can become a GEVPTL MNTD is by becoming a TTT member first. But it’s also more than just a step towards becoming an MNTD—it’s a chance to discover, learn, and grow.

During your time as a TTT member, we’ll get to know each other, and you’ll have a chance to find out what it’s really like to be a Trustee as you’ll learn on the job whilst receiving support and guidance from the Trustees and our professional advisers.

Whilst you may not have the legal responsibility of an MNTD as a member of the TTT, you’ll be able to contribute meaningfully to how both Schemes are managed and use your voice to help shape the future for our members.
